Did you know that Moshi played a significant role in both World Wars? Visit Moshi Cemetery, a 30-minute walk from Blue Cactus Shanty, to explore the graves of nearly 200 Commonwealth soldiers.
Take a ten-minute trek from Blue Cactus Shanty and you will come across this old, dilapidated bridge that crosses River Karanga. This was once one of the few bridges where people could cross the river with goods that were to make their way to various markets in the town of Moshi. Today only a few brave souls still use it to cross.
